TL;DR: Use the Platinum Rule: “Treat others as they would like to be treated.”

Welcome to the world of Spellcraft. We aim to create a safe and friendly environment for everyone to enjoy the game, make friends, share their ideas, and generally have a great time. As a member of the community, you are also a representative of the community, and so we ask you to work together with us to foster the kind of play-space everyone can enjoy.

We make games for people of all ages, races, and genders, and we seek to create a welcoming environment for all of them. We ask that you:

  • Be respectful of other players at all times
  • Avoid illegal, inappropriate and unethical behavior
  • Play fairly and with integrity

If you can’t abide by these Community Guidelines, you won’t be able to continue as a member of the community.

Seems pretty straightforward, doesn’t it? For clarity, we’ve included more “Do’s” and “Don’t’s” below. It is impossible to detail all the ways to misbehave, and so the list below is not complete.

Code of Conduct

Treat Everyone With Respect

  • Do: Treat others as they wish to be treated
  • Do: Be friendly and inviting toward new players, or players you don’t know
  • Do: Forgive others for their mistakes, and seek forgiveness yourself
  • Do: Respect others’ communication preferences when you interact with them
  • Don’t: Share material that’s NSFW, graphic or illegal
  • Don’t: Harass or troll other players in any context
  • Don’t: Make other players the subject of a joke
  • Don’t: Use disparaging or hateful language toward or about others, including but not limited to their race, physical or mental abilities, gender identity, or sexual preference

Play Fairly

  • Do: Play every game to win, to the best of your ability
  • Do: Celebrate others’ achievements
  • Do: Assume other players are doing their best regardless of their skill level
  • Do: Strive to learn more from every game you play
  • Don’t: Taunt players, regardless of whether you win or lose
  • Don’t: Blame other players when things go wrong
  • Don’t: Use cheats, hacks, exploits, or boosting mechanics to improve your chances of winning; cheating to win isn’t actually winning

Act With Integrity

  • Do: Stand up for other players if they’re being bullied or harassed
  • Do: Set the standard for how everyone should interact with each other
  • Do: Use the report function if something seems fishy.
  • Don’t: Spam other players or the community
  • Don’t: Share information about cheats or exploits
  • Don’t: Buy or sell accounts or in-game currency
  • Don’t: Try to circumvent the rules
  • Don’t: Impersonate other users or staff members

Respect Everyone’s Privacy

  • Do: Use a strong password and two-factor authentication on your account
  • Do: Only use third-party programs and websites that are partnered with One More Game’s API program
  • Do: Reach out to our Player Support team if you think you’ve been hacked
  • Don’t: Share real-life information about other players (“doxxing”) with anyone
  • Don’t: Share your personal information with people you don’t know
  • Don’t: Share your account with another person
  • Don’t: Discuss disciplinary matters publicly; those matters should be discussed privately in a support ticket with our staff, not in public venues
